Good medium-sized tree suitable for many uses. Reliable autumn foliage and distinctive yellow bark on young branches provide year-round interest.
 
The Golden Ash is an old favourite in Australia, used as a shade or specimen tree in many parks and gardens.
 
Foliage: The pinnate leaves are pale lemon in colour during spring and become very pale green in summer before turning to brilliant gold in autumn.
 
Culture: Best in moist, deep soil in cooler areas but tolerates both wet and relatively dry conditions.
Performs well on alkaline soils. Reasonable tolerance to heat and low levels of drought. Wide spreading root system.
