Rugged versatile Australian native, suited to coastal plantings, street trees, revegetation, soil stabilisation. Distinctive for the silver-white undersides to the leaves which show up when coastal breezes blow. Nectar rich flowers in winter - a good tree for beekeepers.
Occurs in the wild from southern VIC to QLD, as a shrub in exposed locations, to a 20m tree in sheltered spots - so plant it to allow for future growth!
